Thanks to @BajaAsh I found about these awesome magnetic cable management thingies.

My USB cable was draped over the steering column and kept annoying the hell out of me. It was also getting stuck every time I used the parking brake.

Now everything is perfect. Each cable holder snaps together and depending on the size of your cable you may need to use their silicone inserts. I did not as my cables are rather thick and braided.

The holders detach if needed. The magnets are pretty strong.

They give you spare 4m stickers too. I needed one because the grey area below the fan controls are very slick and it doesn't stick.

Here's the link to the Amzn page.

SICK! I've fallen in love with these little things and find excuses to play with the magnets all the time now. Glad you got your hands on a set! You routed yours almost exactly how mine was and we all know how annoying that dangling cable is getting in and out of the trucks :annoyed:

There nice but i hate to see wires. I would have took the dash apart and run it through the vent to the bottom of the center console

Yeah no thanks. If I need to take the wire I can. Running wires through a vent is not for me.

Nice find! I need to run my gps power cable across the dash to get traffic updates so I currently use Velcro command strips but these are way cleaner.

Yeah I saw @BajaAsh post a pic and immediately fell in love. Clean yet flexible.

My cable is connected to the head unit and I have had so many USB cables go bad on me. That's why I wanted it where I could detach and replace if necessary.

This looks like a outstanding low cost and extremely flexible option for anyone wanting to charge their cell phone or other accessory on the left side of the steering wheel.

Most of the time these will work just as well and quite a bit cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081J38D3K/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078M754XV/

I do find the "white" foam tape falls off very quickly with temperature swings. I usually rip off the included tape and replace it with 3M moulding tape.

Nice idea for your needs but I like a cleaner look. This kinda looks like a good enough sort of job.
