The pin circled in red is likely from the new belt tensioner if the timing belt was just replaced it is supplied with the tensioner holding the plunger in a compressed position until you install it so in most cases you are not fighting to compress the spring at some ungodly angle in the vehicle. The extra bolts and spacer are the real head scratcher, without watching it being disassembled it will take someone far more familiar with the 3.4 than i am to have an idea where those came from.

    OME and worth every penny.
the longest bolt got stripped so i hope they replaced it (but prob. didn't) looks alternator related.
the black ones look like timing cover bolts. Look at the plastic cover, maybe get lucky and see missing ones.
The little short 10mm head is prob. from firewall somewhere edit: I bet it's a ground wire.
lockwasher...? not very common on engine. Another prob. from firewall.
That spacer goes in some plastic part to keep it from cracking easily, prob. has 2 bolts
plastic cover....? no idea. doesn't look important to function. Throw it in the console for now.
edit: Is that spacer from an ear of a coil?

    the grenade pin. Chunk it.
or save ALL that shit like I do. I bet I have 20 of them.

Well they said replacing... however I believe that they were casualties, due to the fact that I actually found the broken piece of crankshaft pulley under my truck and they were having major difficulties reinstalling them. I was told that it should be fine, but once I saw them, I demanded that they just be replaced.

I haven't a clue. It didn't make that noise before all this. That much I do know, because I definitely would have noticed it. (Being my truck, I know every lil noise/new noise, ya know?)

And right?! Was actually being helped by 2 different people with that transaction!

Cuz you'll notice no ps noise on Startup here... but whatever they did between here and when they finished, it started making crazy noises. ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Tensioner retaining pin (will always be leftover), a brake caliper shim (they reused the old one), two bolts and a washer for the timing cover (was probably a PITA to put back on, so they left it off), a spare washer (no big deal really) and a long and short bolt (those two I don't know what they go to, the rest is seriously no big deal).

Ok... so which ps pump would you guys recommend?? (One thats not gonna break my already suffering wallet).
And was just considering to either have a reputable mobile mechanic come out or take to shop. Which last time I didn't have the option to take to a shop, due to my truck being down.

Learning how to do it yourself is always a good option, not only do you get insanely familiar with your truck but you get a great sense of accomplishment. Do you have anyone willing to be around and point you in the right direction as you learn to do the work?

NAPA has OEM rebuilt ps pumps.
Compare it with the original, in the store. You can also rebuild the pump for about$30

the whine can come from the Alternator,
Take the belt off and start it up- test it.

I have a feeling that one of the sounds could be coming from the alternator. Though I'm hoping not. Maybe just the pulley. I'm really just praying that its the idler pulley/bearing and/or alt pulley. God knows that I'm already broke with all these repairs. Sheesh. So Miss that $600/wk PUA.

An alternator shop could make it good as new for 100 bux.

I just had to do my 10 yr. old Honda. It squealed then the light illuminated.
