I started disassembly of the Dillon 650 last night. Got everything ready for full disassembly tonight. Tomorrow is a degreaser soak, dry and re-oiling. Sunday, I'm hoping to reassemble.

Not a whole lot. Finally installed my CB last night at 3AM. The antenna cable was a little short so had to run it under the seat and wedged the radio between console and seat. Works for now. I haven't been able to test it truck to truck or tune it yet. It's got power though so I did something right.

 

Sadly this. I'm only a 7-year-old combat vet. At least that's what my wife says.

Depends on the measure. I have no experience with the Dillon presses. They are an example of Maner's amazing generosity.

My last press was a Lee Pro 1000 and I had everything except the case feeder on it. Powder measures were within .1-.2 grains, so I had to find a sweet spot to get accurate loads that weren't too slow for competition. Ialso had constant breaks of the measure chain, so I kept my extra dog tag chains to fix it. Turns out, the powder measure was nearly identical for .45 ACP and 9mm Luger lol.

I was able to dial in my stock Beretta 92FS to 1.5" consistent groups with copper-plated, 124 grain, flat point rounds and 3.9 grains of Alliant Bullseye powder loaded to an overall length of about 1.1 inches. The overall length I can't remember, but I remember for them to chamber in my M&P required loading them short to less than 1.09 inches OAL.

No clue on this model. I'm working with considerable surface rust and problems with component interaction. On my last progressive, it was consistent enough to accurize my firearms performance over factory ammunition, but not good enough for precision rifle performance.
