First time dirt fishing in a Trout Stream and found this. A 60 year old bus fare token. Think I'm going to start finding other old fishing spots to hit.

Now I really have to try that place? Not the first time I heard it.

I like "Angelo's Burgers" and a place called "Fantastic Burgers". :hungry:

"Bus fare token"??? That's pretty damn cool!!!

Some of the things that can be found can be pretty good talking pieces... at least it would be interesting to me as a conversation piece. :notsure:

Pretty cool find for sure.

If there is an Angelo's Burgers there or Fantastic Burgers, I don't know about it?

The only Angelo's Burgers I know around the Orange County, CA area is located on Westminster and Newhope. I've never been or seen any other one that I've ever driven by.

Regarding Fantastic Burgers, that is the one that is near Cherry Ave North (i.e. Long Beach area) near the Boeing building and/or Long Beach Air Port. I only discovered that place because my old boss used to stop by there before we went to service one of the fire stations. Super GOOD burgers for sure!!! The fries are "thick cut" type fries and has a sort of that light season salt type seasoning? I don't know what type of seasoning, but they're good.

Anyways, I always tell people to at least try out Fantastic Burgers. "I" like it at least, but it has been about 3yrs now since I've been there, so I'm pretty sure they're still there, but ???

Going back to Angelo's Burgers, their Gyros are really good too!!! That's if you like Gyros?

Check out the Fantastic location over by Boeing HB. Best gyro I've ever had, was at the Mad Greek in Corona. Not entirely sure its still there though.

HAHAHAHAHA, you know what, I THINK I know which one you are talking about now. You're right, there is a burger place next to a Palates business near Bolsa Chica and Westminster!!! DUMBA$$ ME!!!:facepalm::frusty::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::D:p I haven't been to that one in quite a few years now though. I'm pretty sure it's still there, but this rona crap is just bad business... literally!!! I hope it is still there because yeah, I've gotten a Gyro there before and damn good food overall.:fistbump::cheers:

Got a nice deal on a new camo steering wheel for my truck, but It won’t fit. Now what? :notsure: I guess I could play and go drag it around in the dirt...B43DB058-72AB-40F9-8802-6B6FC6381DEA.jpg
Planning on using it for looking for deeper deposits after using a smaller coil to search for shallower fines. It’s a heavy coil, but I have a hipstick suspension setup for it to make it easier to swing.

Also finished my cleanup sluice box with a custom silicone mat and recirculating pump- tested it on leftovers I panned twice already and it picked up a lot of black sand and the left over micro flour dust I missed pretty well.

Ok,,, so which one of you guys is holding on to this.
ASBURY PARK, N.J. – A rare 1794 U.S. silver dollar, believed to be the first silver dollar minted by a newborn United States, is going up for sale by a New Jersey coin dealer.

"This coin is the Holy Grail of all dollars," said Laura Sperber, president of Legend Numismatics in Middletown's Lincroft section. The sale, by Legend Auctions, will be Oct. 8 at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas and online.

Bruce Morelan, a Las Vegas collector, purchased the coin, nicknamed the "Flowing Hair Silver Dollar," in 2013 for $10 million, the most ever paid for a rare coin. It features Lady Liberty ringed with stars on one side and an eagle on the other.
