18 hours, I just flashed my truck yesterday. It did not take long at all. However I did find Ov emails in my Spam folder.

Have done everything on the directions so far and I’m now stuck. I have the computer hooked up to the OB port on the trucks ECU, and once I hit the flash tool then the screen looks a little different than directions (the highlighted interface) and once I hit identify no calibrations are showing. Anyone have some knowledge to shed? Will be emailing them as well. I posted this on another thread as well just saw that OvTune was on here today hoping to get some help. Definitely feels like it shouldn't be this hard I'm sure I'm missing a step. :anonymous:

How do I find that? That's something I type into the interface box?

There should be a drop down menu that lists the different drivers. If your using the tactrix openport 2 you have to install the driver from their website before it shows up

This is how I know to do it.

    Go here and install FM:
    https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/ovtune-tacoma-flash-manager-overhaul

    Once installed, do this:

After that, you can use the Flash Tool in vF or FM.

@OVTune Hoping to get an email response on my calibration info... Sent Wednesday! I believe that’s the last piece before I can finally load this tune!

1.05 or 2.0... what version are people going with at this point? Running 265/75/16 10 ply MTs and some extra armor. Looking to get power back (and more) and to get rid of this terrible shifting behavior.

You don’t need your stock calibration file to start tuning. That file is only if you want/need to revert back to stock. Once you have your registration file, you’re good to go!

Just flashed 2.0 Premium stock THX instead of the non thx tune I was using, along with properly resetting AT/LV as suggested. Hoping it settles in nicely because it hops out of 3rd gear almost immediately after shifting to it and bucks hard in the process. I’m assuming that just means I reset AT/LV properly unlike last time lol. I’ll report back later today Or tomorrow when I get a good amount of mileage on the tune. Thanks again to those who suggested this a week or so ago!

Yup I flashed to almost the same as you I just got the 33in tires in there. I also did notice the truck was a bit "rough" around the edges at first and totally understandable. It has been through alot gettin reprogrammed and all. LoL. Let us know what ya find overall after you got some miles on this tune.

So how will that work? we have to buy a tune pack which will give us the rights to use your flash tuner?

No, you'd pay us to flash you with a map that we already own ourselves. This is convenient for the type of person who doesn't care about editing their own maps and wants to flash once and then not remember they're tuned until 5 years later
