Back when I was building (bolting parts on) the Cruisers I really liked the aluminum stuff for the weight savings.
And aluminum doesn't rust and it's cool af and is unique and they're from Israel, that's just cool to me:D they had all the stuff for 80s back then as well.
But the price was way outta hand due to currency exchange at the time. Looks like right now is the time order any of the ASFIR stuff. Killer rates currently. I still can't believe the price CS_AR got.

Does anyone know if a manual transmission fan shroud will bolt up to an automatic radiator?
Are the mounting bolts in the same location?

Went for a short drive today and it dawned on me that my 17 year old truck does not have a single squeak or rattle and everything on and in it works flawlessly. Not bragging, just kind of marveling at how well our 1st gens were built.

Nothing wrong with 50s, I'm already there. Just get in shape (ish) and you'll be good.

You should’ve seen the engine bay before I pressure washed it and simple green’d it twice.

Before body lift (ignore front stripes, they are gone).

    After 1" body lift.

The lift itself wasn't that bad to install, it was doing the radiator relocation that really sucked balls. Trying to get those stupid brackets in place was a pain in the ass.

Drove it to get gas, body didn't fall off and the fan isn't grinding on the shroud so I guess I did OK. Front tires still rub a little on the mud flaps, so those will come off eventually. I kinda want top look into raising the gas tank an inch now since there's room for it now.
