    So you're running a 2.7 4Runner, 3.4 4Runner and that Camry now? What a fleet.

What type of injectors are you finding to be more modern?

I've seen some green Camry injectors recommended to replace the Brown Aisan injectors that come on 3.4L with a slightly higher CC volume.

I've upgraded injectors on Nissans to use more modern injectors with more offices while staying with the same CC.

There is a very lengthy thread on MUD about the difference between 4 hole to 12 hole injector performance.

    https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/12-hole-injector-upgrade-finally-tested.1192988/

For a 1993 LC, I did find that Rock Auto is selling new Intermotor FJ375 injectors for $135.79 each. New OEM Toyota (23209-74080) at Partsouq is $140.63

No real difference in price between Intermotor (reboxed) and OEM in price.

I'm at a similar crossroad with my 100 series injectors. I want to clean up the intake and service the injectors. Though I'm not crazy about servicing (cleaning, o-rings, and screens) injectors with 235,000 miles. Though I might do it. I can get new Intermotors for $91.79 each.

I was wiped out from Friday night and waking up at 5:30am yesterday, then spending all day working on the body lift. I called it quits at 9:45 last night.

When I did the intake on the 4R, I swapped injectors from the stock 4 hole to 12 hole. I haven't really seen that much of an improvement in gas mileage and my driving habits are the same. It does run great and I know performance has improved but I couldn't tell you it was from the injectors or not since the manifold swap alone also improves performance. @Empty_Lord and I determined they were from a Solara or something like that. They are pink injectors, Toyota part # 23250-0A020.

Thanks Todd. I would like to do the 4.7 intake manifold swap like you to reduce heat transfer. Though I don't know what I'm getting into on that with a 99 model.

I after I make the 98 4 runner 4x4 with Tacoma parts than I can scrap it... There won't be anything left but a bent frame and bad body considering swapping the dash from the Tacoma to the 4 runner because I liked it

Question about the 2.2 Camry when timing it

I didn't see a mark on the crank gear or shaft only the mark on the harmonic balancer and timing cover

Is there one beneth the timing cover or do we just set it tdc at the ballancer than don't move it

I believe I moved the crank when putting the belt on so I'm going to redo it as my mpg took a hit after that job

Just wanted to know if there was a timing mark there or if I'm supposed to set it at tdc with the harmonic balancer than try my best to not move it

I didn't know this. I've always thought the vehicles I've driven with Bilstein shocks were harsh. I just looked on the Toyota TRD site and there don't appear to be any TRD parts available for a 1999. Is there somewhere these are available or some kind of aftermarket equivalent?

That could be a tough mark to see if you don't know what you're looking for, especially FWD mounted. But I've learned there is ALWAYS a reference mark

the mark would be clearly visible if it weren't coated in oil leak residue

Even the V6 FWD ones? Or that doesn't affect the amount of time it takes really?
Which timing belt job(Toyota) has been the worst that you've had to deal with so far?
