P0158 help?

    it just popped up, i have done no work in 6 months, just an alignment at the toyota dealer on saturday. 30k miles TRD supercharger with other modifications see below avatar.

    any recommendations on what to do?

    P0158 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

    Where is Bank 2 Sensor 2???

    Ive got a 02 simulator in the garage if that would fix my problem anyone?

    Trey I had the same code was caused from gasket failure on my pipe bomb I used the ones supplied with the pipe bomb and the were shot when I removed and sold it 2 months ago went back to OEM y and new OEM gaskets haven't had the code since

    do you know if it was the gasket that connected the y pipe to the headers or the y pipe to the exit pipe with muffler

    Try swapping both rear o2 and see if it trips again on the same side or if it goes to bank1

    dont make fun of me but the largest metric open end wrench i have is 17 and this is a 18 or 19. Im a bad mechanic lol. I guess im going to sears tomorrow. This wont hurt anything by driving on it will it?

    Dude I had the same issue had to borrow a adjustable crescent to swap mine out when I put in the pipebomb so I have no room to make fun. I don't think any harm will come I drove mine for 5 or 6 months and had to clear the code 5 or6 times. If it throws a p0152 then you will know the sensor is bad but if it throws the same code I would look into an exhaust leak somewhere

    Ok i got board and ended up getting them both off with a 7/8th wrench, but on the drivers side the rear has a longer cable so they couldnt be interchanged. the short passanger side couldnt reach the other side. so what I did after was I unpluged the passagner harness and started the truck and threw the same code. So this leads me to believe that my passanger side 02 sensor is bad.

    Sorry man I didn't know about the cables when I was troubleshooting mine someone on xru told me to try that but I never got around to item
