I actually like the blacked out look as well as the debadged look and if cost wasn't an issue I'd probably own one of each style.
And yeah, chrome on Army green wouldn't cut it for me either.
Have you seen the green phase Toyota logo stripes yet? I've seen a green forerunner with them where I work, very subtle and look pretty sharp.

With the exception of a few Franken Tacomas that I've seen I pretty much like them all. I'd have to try really hard not to like a Tacoma. They may not all be to my particular taste but there are very few that I wouldn't mind having in my driveway.

You can slap a dashcam or a radar detector on there. There's lots of kits out for adapting cameras and things to that mount.
I have a cheap dashcam on mine that works great!

I haven't seen them. I'll have to search around for a picture.

    Tuned, geared, armored, BP51s...
It's been a busy weekend! Installed bp51s all around with 1/4" spacer drivers side, leaf pack in the rear. New sway bar linkages and bushings, brake lines, brakes, rotors, pressure plate and flywheel.
Today will wrap it up with the ADM - Accumulator delete.
I'm sore, tired, bloody, and battered. But she's done! Thanks to everyone here who offers help and support for those learning!!!

@Paulndot... I really like the hoist. It was a little harder to install than I originally anticipated, but that's just because I can never get a stud finder that works right. They just seem to beep constantly when I hold them  ... that and my carpentry game is nowhere near @shaggy135.

The heavier duty hoist is awesome, but actually a little hard to lower when you have lighter weight on it. With just the rack, I have to coax it down just a bit. I got it with the intent of getting an RTT and am sure it will really work even better when I finally get one. I also had to mount the pulling end of the rope at a diagonal so I could get more of a straight down pull to release the hoist due to my workbench. That worked great, but it's still a little hard for me to pull straight down with my garage setup. All in all, just what I needed

This is your only warning, stop being jerks. This is about trucks, keep COVID out of it as it may result in an involuntary vacation away from this site.

Anyone know of a good shop in Westchester County, NY for balancing Nitro Ridge Grapplers? I'm not bringing it back to Mavis do they can spend another day not fixing the issue.

I got the Breezeway 56. I really like how it doesn't have the window awnings on the front and back sides of the truck. So with my tack only mid height, I don't have to finagle the front side.

Well I did end up pulling off that RFID sticker thing this weekend. Turns out it wasn't a load-bearing sticker, and the truck didn't fall apart. Yay.

Vent visor, hood protector, door sill protector, next up eibach,SCS Ray 10s to be installed next week...
American cycle and tire in Peekskill. Dave and Robin are awesome. They installed my tires and lift. I've bought several sets of tires from him. He always does right by his customers....I pretty sure he runs Nittos on his personal rig.

Replaced the rear differential oil (yesterday). Drained and measured what came out...a bit over a litre low. Surprised how dark the oil looked. Filled with just over 4 Litres of Amsoil Severe Gear oil 75w90 synthetic gear oil. No, I don't work or sell Amsoil products but after quite a bit of research it seems that they (Amsoil) got it right. Actually i like Mobile1 Extended Service 0w20 engine oil. Thing for sure i was pleased was their squeeze oil pouches...beautiful!, so please check your rear differential oil level!...we have 18000 kilometers on our Tacoma.

Canadian brother, no different then when you use a socket say 24mm to remove the diff drain plug...i have no idea what that would be had it been in the other system...but I'd look it up.
