CAI Question ?????

was thinking of getting the K&N 63 series intake for my 2011, but saw it was not legal in PA. where I live. Im not concerned weather it is legal or not ,but I dont want to get one if it wont pass inspection here in pa .because of emissions. does anyone no what the reason for it not being legal is . Thanks

 

Stick with stock... or get Ted or are stage 2... all the rest are worthless and will reduce performance

Tom, Don't waste your money on the cai. Just get a nice high flow filter like a afe pro dry s and save yourself the money.

I also have the afe stage 2 si and am not disappointed with it, but for the money it cost verses the gain. I would recommend saving the money and putting it towards something else. The tacoma stock intake is a pretty good one already.

 

If you add the URD maf calibrator, it makes the truck a little more peppy with the TRD.

 

I have the urd maf calibrator! Didnt notice any difference on my butt dyno!
