I want one of those BlackVue kits. Looks like a quality product.

Finally got the sound deadening applied to the back wall and under the back seat. I still have one whole box of Noico, so I may do the floor at some point. Got a MrMarv enclosure/rack on the way and I wanted to get it done and do a general cleanup back there. 7 years of dust. Its not the best looking, but I am still a novice at the deadening thing.[IMG]
While I had everything dismantled, I figured it was as good a time as any to wash the Wet Okole's.

From last night, Changed out my Ultra gauge for a Edge CS2, which allows me to add a oil temp and pressure sensor. Then since I'm going to the dunes in two weeks, decided i wanted a little more cooling capacity from my fans so swapped out one of the summit racing fans for a mishimoto race line fan, supposed to flow more than double the cfm.

Damn, a blatant Prinsu copy. Surprised they can't get sued for this..

I hope I never need it, but I’m glad I have it. Worth the cost for peace of mind. I’m also glad I went for the DR750S over the DR900S, since 60 frames per second (reducing motion blur) is of greater benefit to me than 4K ultra high-res at 30 fps.

I opted for my own SD card, a SanDisk MAX Endurance 256GB. It’s rated for a whopping 13.7 years of continuous recording, but is pretty damn pricey at ~$90.

Same as uptop too. They are all similar. Seems that way with a lot of aftermarket Tacoma accessories. Racks, stiffeners, armor, etc.

So I could buy the least memory capacity and use my own card? I thought the memory was internal, my mistake.

Went to Wyoming for a week for vacation, took the truck to the Grand Teton National Park for a hike around Jenny Lake, over the Teton pass into Idaho for some distillery action, and instead of renting a side by side we took it back into the Greys River for a little 4wd action. Wife actually admitted she had fun offroading and gave me the thumbs up to start adding to the truck to do more of this..... but not all at once. Brother just built a house out there so this may become a reoccurring trip, which I will in NO WAY argue.
Only negative to the trip was I lost my license plate back in the Greys somewhere. Made for an interesting 23 hour drive back to Indy. Need to get a replacement so I may get an amateur radio license plate now.

Did some work on the back of my taco:

    - Installed a Blias Bros rear diff breather kit. Put the breather up behind the taillight, but I'm thinking about moving it to the storage cubby
    - Installed Osram reverse bulbs. Much brighter than the LED bulbs the previous owner had put in there
    - Installed Hooke Road bed stiffeners. Painted the hardware black so it would all match.

Starting to put the door harness together for my power mirrors.
This one is for the drivers door. It's a 6 pin connector and uses the same terminals as the speaker wires currently in the truck. I was going to put the speaker wires into this connector but decided to leave them alone.
If I ever need to add anything (mirror defogger, signal light, etc), I have three terminals empty.

Instead of the double nut on the axle tube U bolt I got fine thread rod coupling nuts. Combined with a lock washer they stay tight.E899CFC6-DFAF-4229-A0DF-60F5B2C1D5E6.jpg

Finally got a flat place to set my beers! Aside from the ac knob mod, this is the 2nd easiest to do. Took all of 5 mins. 20200809_161346.jpg

Yep, I’m pretty sure the only memory is via SD card. I bought through Blackboxmycar, so I had the option of buying without an SD card.
