That one and a few others. The bushing is the only thing I'm really worried about. I've only really ever done basic maintenance on vehicles. This will be the 1st one I've ever lifted. This is a whole new ballgame for me

Exact same for me. Most I've ever done is change the oil in a few vehicles.

I've still got to figure out my bump stops and get some new u-bolts. I ordered a u-bolt flip plate and forgot the u-bolts

I ordered extended U-bolts in case I needed them but I'm only doing a single add a leaf so I may not need them. Maybe someone else can chime in with advice. I just wanted to be prepared for everything

I got new "square" ones with the Dobinsons leafs. I just forgot to get the one for the u-bolt flip  I can leave it for a bit until I decide on bump stops.

It’s not hard to do. Don’t rush doing it. Most importantly keep your fingers tucked in so you don’t smash one of them. It hurts, and if you hit it in the right stop you get to watch and new fingernail grow.

this is about 6 weeks later.

Wow, what an epic mod! I can't say that I've seen too many people on here do a 2wd, to 4wd conversion!
