    More importantly, I just ruined the threads on one of my CV axles. So i’m about to start ordering everything, and i mean EVERYTHING to rebuild the front end of my truck.

    Uppers, lowers, axles, everything but the coilovers. I can’t afford to lift with all this other bullshit happening.

    I’ll need some help with what to get. I will go with OEM lowers, and OEM axles, all new OEM hardware as i’m sure i’ll get mad, get the torch out and just start cutting the old shit the fuck off.

    As for uppers, i have no idea. I want indistructable and zero maintenance. @EatSleepTacos was helping start the knowledge learning of uppers the other night :anonymous:

    Anti Seize or RTV at the joint where my MBRP exhaust bolts to the exhaust pipe.

    There's a slip fit collar in the trucks exhaust pipe but I noticed there was condensation dripping from there. I want to stop it. I hear horror stories about not being able to get the joint apart later using RTV. I'm thinking anti seize would be enough. It doesn't even look like there's a gap.

    You’ll want the RTV high temp exhaust sealant and some gloves

    trust me, its how we seal band clamp exhausts and it is not a problem to replace or remove. You could also just replace the donut gasket and see if that fixes your issue.

    Thanks Mason. There is no gasket. There wasn't one there when I removed the OEM exhaust. There's just a collar that protrudes from the front exhaust pipe.

    Well I’m 0-3 today. No rear lift since the other leaf pack didn’t come in. Could not get the cv out after a couple hours of trying and the could not get the struts built on the truck. I thought the neutral pressure ones might make it tough and it did. I only tried the drivers side and gave up after a while and put things back together. Gonna get the struts built somewhere close and hope the leaf pack comes this week. The slide hammer from autozone didn’t have any adapters and I should have checked. Still fun to work on the truck for several hours...

    I don’t even remember if I left the house yesterday lol.
    Yea, but at least I didn’t lose anything I couldn’t find or strip any nut, bolts or screw anything else up. I guess that’s kinda a win.

    Yea, I thought for sure there would be a metal ring style, or a typical flange paper style but there was neither. Just that collar. It sticks out about a 1/4" - 1/2".

    @AR15xAR10
    EDIT - I have that THE BLUE RTV sealant. I'm just going to use that. I like the sound, so it's not like I'm going to be removing it anytime soon. I'll have to pick up the high heat red I thought I had.

    To further clarify, i dont just want to do bushings since my UBJ and LBJs have 97k on them. So i might as well just do the full arms.

    Anyone else’s USB port just die for no reason? Strangest thing- working one minute, not working the next. Tried different charger cords and everything, haven’t put the multimeter on it yet...
