My brother has a 2010 JK, lifted. I’ve driven it a couple times and at any speed 45+ it becomes uncomfortable. It might be a bad lift, but I recall some unlifted jeeps from high school that just rode like hell, so I think it’s pretty typical. The solid front axle is better for Offroad, but the rest of the chassis and body is just shit for anything above 45 mph. IMO

I was considering a Glad instead of my taco (2020 Sport 6 mt). I have a friend that works at FCA and I was offered a code for essentially 30% off MSRP. My ideal Glad build would have been a Sport S with LSD, manual trans, hard top, and not the base infotainment. I wanted android auto. Just the manual was impossible to find in a Sport S. Only trim that had a manual within like 300 miles was a Rubicon. If I were going that high up in trim I'd want a mojave but those are auto only so nope. And even then, you're almost in Raptor territory.

I drove an 8 auto sport S hard top. I agree it felt peppier below 3k but I think 100% it's just how Jeep tuned the accel pedal. I wasn't really impressed anywhere else. It was an absolute dog merging on the highway. The inside wasn't very attractive to me. What also pissed me off was dealing with the Jeep dealer. "Oh all our cars have window tint, door edge guards, stain protection, etc and it's a $1500 charge"

Went to the Toyota dealer and they had the manual access cab. 6 foot bed was great for me because I can set up a backpack tent in the bed lol. I thought the Taco was more fun to drive. I don't regret my decision at all.
