Ya, too deep with two quads. The winch bumper is nice but it blocks a lot of air. Anything over 55mph and 4th gear the temp gauge starts climbing.

 

The deck build is good so far. Still more work to do. The deck flooring is completed. We are working on the roof next.

The homeowners wanted us to remove the chimney from the roof so we can build a new roof over the deck that can attach to the existing house roof. They are not using that fireplace that came with the house anymore. They are using electric fireplace instead.

I go to bed early tonight and I have to work early in the am.

 

That reminds me! I need to add some coolant, mine has lost a little over the years I guess.
You bringing all that to the meet? Once you get into southern Ohio or Kentucky, those interstates aren't level.

No doubt. The AA alone would toast it. My wife is online looking for a Ford. If we don’t find something else the toys will have to stay home. She raises and shows rabbits, last year she showed in Reno, so we’re going to have to find something better suited. My Tacoma or her Pacifica ain’t gonna cut it.

 

She said a Colorado could tow 7000 lbs

Good response lol just because it “can” doesn’t mean it should. My old tundra could pull a 10k skid steer, but it wasn’t thrilled about it

 

Gladiator will tow 7650.....

....if it doesnt break down....

I didn't even think about the AA! But, it does at least have truck lanes up most the steep climbs.

There's an alternate route at Cincy instead of the boring af AA highway: Get onto rt 32 east of the city, head east to rt 73. 73 will take you to Portsmouth, then 23 or 52 toward Ashland. Once in Ashland, 60 to Rush.
Might be an easier/flatter route at that junction. 73 is twisty, though, but not too many bad hills. After Portsmouth it's all gravy!

 

If I didn't hate Chebbies so much, I would have a Z72 Bison...

 

If corvettes came with four wheel drive, I would have a red one.

 

For the 100000th time in my life- don't hate on the factory OR skidplate. I've banged that thing on pretty much every rock in KY at this point and it has never failed.

 

Looking forward to the build thread, because the C8 ZR1 is AWD.

 

The OR skid is the same through all all models, except the Pro's. They get the fancy aluminium one.

With that said, I beat on mine a little too. Had to beat on it with a hammer to get it back on once or twice. My SOS Concepts trans skid is warped, though... might brace it, might not.

 

1st mod will be an OR skid plate.
