I’m old enough to have shopped at Circuit City. Though I couldn’t tell you what they sold, I just remember it as a Best Buy competitor. I was just a kid when they were still open.

    Absolutely

I last went there in Jan or Feb; I don't know if its because I go during the week vs a weekend but there's always more sales staff than customers.

Surprised a place that large is still in business for as long as it has been.

yeah they were basically the same thing as Best Buy but just didn't do as well for whatever reason, probably corporate shenanigans

I recall Circuit City being a whole lot better for misc. items like a specific TV adapter, network adapters, etc.

Hell I even bought laptop RAM there before.

No way man, I remember getting my first Sony Walkman for Christmas. I think I was 8 or 9 and listening to my Dad's Bruce Springsteen tape over and over
I must've just missed the carrying the boom box period

    30 years young!

Why buy a Land Cruiser when you can buy a superior Jeep Wrangler?

My CEL is intermittent... it turned off yesterday, hopefully it's still off when I get off work so I can go get 2 year tags and not even worry about the engine swap rn :p:fingerscrossed:

Just because it's off doesn't mean it's not there, I don't know how thorough the emissions check is where you're at but in CA they plug their scanner in. If the code is intermittent that means it's likely still stored in the ECU and they will see it with the scanner.

But, if all they are doing is looking at the dash to see if the light is on then yeah you'll be ok.

Why not just plug in a tool and check for yourself to see if it's stored?

Really a 10 second task instead of chancing it.

yep and if doing this, then also make sure your emission cycle is complete. A lot of times a code won't show but the emissions cycle isn't complete (like if you pull the battery to reset it), if the code doesn't show but the emissions cycle is incomplete the smog shop will tell you to come back when it's ready. At least they will in CA and probably for him too since they are using OBD2. And when it's ready is probably when the code will pop back up lol

    NICE!

That foam tore up too fast though.

Here are the 3 specific models I had...bringing back memories

Think at one point I had an Aiwa cassette player but don't know what happened to it.

10 to 20 minutes driving should be enough to get it nice and hot and complete the cycle.
