You know I don't think I would either (unless I had the funds in reserve) but they sure are nice.

Sure would. But only were I rich enough that $190k wasn't a big deal, and the truck could be used and abused a bit. No interest in pampering or owning a garage queen. But owning and using a "new" FJ40 would be a dream realized to be sure.

This is the only place I would pay an outrageous amount of money for an FJ and a Bronco at that.

Be careful when shopping for Cruiser resto's. There are a number of outfits in the resto biz and some of them you want to steer clear of... I am aware of two individuals who had very poor reputations in the Cruiser world, and I would make sure I was not buying from them.
I have very little knowledge about the company you linked.

    OMG those are nice!

A FJ43 would be the perfect truck to off road in IMO.

That's patently ridiculous; you could do a concourse restoration of something like that for half of that, and realistically speaking if you do a restoration and get half your money back, you're doing well. $50K? I could buy (I wouldn't but I could). Almost 200??????????? I want some of whatever they're smoking!!!

Perfect for me to haul a canoe trailer and customers to launch. Nah, I'll keep using beat up mini-vans.

I want the entire thing but given how clean it is I have a feeling it's well out of my price range lol.

Haven't seen the owner around but would like to ask him if it's still got the original Toyota engine in it or if it was swapped, it's definitely been restored so it could be either/or. I know swaps are pretty common with old LCs.

Its usually only parked there a couple times a month so I don't think its a neighbor, probably friend or family of someone. I might have to stake out and ambush him/her
