Depends on who's doing it, it's up to them to set the price.

I am sure this question has been asked but has anyone with an AT gone through the VFTuner and Tune Pack process? I just want to confirm that 1.05 or some partial version of 2.0 is currently available (assuming final 2.0 for AT is coming later) for an AT before I shell out the $760 for VFTuner w/ cable and the Tune Pack. Thanks in advance.

If you buy vf tuner and the tune pack, you get access to fm and all the currently available tunes to flash. The AT tune packs are to be released any day now if you wish to make changes to a 2.0 tune.

Thanks Shellshock, it may just be your wording but you make it sound like the AT tune pack is a separate product that has not been released yet. My understanding (that I'm trying to confirm) is that if I buy the Tune Pack listed on the OVTune website, I will get access to all the tunes relevant to my ECU ID and any future tunes (i.e. 2.0 final with gear lock etc) that have not been released yet. Thanks again for your response.

Flash manager (fm) is the off the shelf tunes that are currently available. The tune packs are those same files but editable within vF. The tune packs for AT have not yet been released, the MT have.

If you purchase the tune pack, you get both FM and the tune pack for use with vF when released and future updates.

I am glad to hear about the rev limiter. I thought I was going crazy or had flashed something wrong when I was shifting at the stock redline after flashing the 2.0 AT final.

It’s crazy. On my AT, I can do 90+in 4th to pass but if it up shifts to fifth before I’m done passing I start dropping back to 85. Kinda freaky.

Check the other thread. The V-1.05 development thread. Last page or so someone is selling their OVTune cable... $100.

    No affiliation with seller.

Yeah that’s one of the reasons i got rid of my AT back in 2017. It was either speeding up or slowing down. It couldn’t figure out how to maintain speed

vF Tuner exclusive 2GR-FKS Load patch allows for the engine to calculate a load cap higher than stock limit of 158%.
Now Load can be calculated up to 255%.
Here is a log with load peaking 167% (with boost).

I think its more applicable to boost but this is from an unrelated resource:
Max Load adjustment tuning can compensate for how much air (gram/cyl) the ECU will recognize. This is a critical parameter for higher HP applications due to the fact that the ECU is not able to properly calculate fuel requirements when demand exceeds the load cap. If the load cap is set too low, a lean condition occurs, getting worse as the delta of actual load goes further beyond the load cap.

I do wonder if there is any benefit for non-boosted applications @OVTune
