Save a ton on Ebay!

Alright guys...I don't know if ya'll know about it but I'd thought I'd share the wealth. As of now, you can save 25% on Ebay purchases! Some of you might be skeptical, but hang in there and read the entire post! Microsoft's "Live.com" is doing a special program with Ebay, and here are the rules to get the discount.

You have to win an item on ebay with "Buy it now" option, not auction bid, and you have to pay by paypal. Secondly, you just have to make a live.com account and thats pretty much it. Thirdly, the discount will be given to you 60 days into your paypal account.

So here's how you do it: Go to live.com and search for something big (ie ipod, xbox, ps3, etc) Once it shows you the search results, on the top there should be an ad/link redirecting to ebay and it should say something like "25% off with paypal..." Click on it and it will take you to Ebay. From there you have ONE HOUR to make a purchase. The discount works for ANYTHING that is "Buy it now" the search for ipod, xbox, etc is just used to get the discount, but you can pretty much buy anything!

On the top of the ebay page and before you commit to buy, there should be a "cashback" icon telingl you that it is working. Right before you pay, it will tell you how much you saved with the discount. After a few minutes, you will get a message from ebay in your inbox about the cashback, and will link you to live.com to make an account/ to see your cashback progress. I'm pretty sure it's safe, I've bought 3 things so far and so have my friends. I'll see if I can post some pictures of my live.com account to show you guys! There are a few other rules like you can only buy 6 things and get a max discount of whatever..I don't exactly what they are but you can check it on ebay. Good luck and happy shopping!

 

It works, I got a sweet deal on a blu ray player with it.

 

It works great. I've used it to get some minor mods for my Taco and i got $30 coming back. Looking at either a Front Skid Plate or a TRD CAI up next.

 

I'm not going to try... but I wonder if this would work with an Ebay Auto buy-it-now for a car. 25% off a new Taco!

I was just about to come post something similar... In addition to the $200 limit per 'Online Session,' there is a $2,500 limit per year. Also, they specifically exclude real estate and cars, as noted in 2. and 3. below.

I just bought a Sony BDP-S350 BluRay player. After the discount it'll be $185, shipping included! They sell for $299.99 at Best Buy and $279.99 at Circuit City.

There are limits to the items you can buy and amounts you can receive as discounts (as noted above), but the only thing close to a 'catch' I can see is that you don't get the discount for 60 days. The terms and conditions say this is in case you return the item.

This is a legit and fantastic deal. I'm pumped about the Blu Ray player, and about the fact that I'm not going to have to go out early on Black Friday to get a deal on one like I was planning.

 

Well, I bought an 02 sensor for my echo lastnight, and this morning it says I have $15.75 pending. I guess I'll just have to wait the 60 days to see if it pans out.
