Ha. The more I’m around little shits the less I want any of them. Saves hundreds of thousands of dollars. Get to do whatever you want whenever you want. Shit, I’m to the point where I don’t even want dogs anymore

First day of a new training block with 5 days on. Squats for a 5 rep max, paused 3 rep max front squats, then super slow controlled eccentric. Screenshot_20200810-144850~2.jpg

I can understand that. The older we get, the more set in our ways we become. We become less willing to comprise etc. There is absolutely something to be said about having total freedom to do what you want when you want to do it and not have to consider others(as much). However, I know I would feel partially empty without my son in my life. I love sharing experiences with him and wouldn’t trade that for anything.

What’s right for some, might not be for others. You just have to be honest with yourself and follow what your path is.

I've known I didn't want kids since I was about 13. Everyone told me, and they still do, that I'll change my mind but I know I won't.

    To each their own.

Been running Calgary barbells 16 week program at a slight deficit. M/T/T/F and I run Wednesday and Saturday. Also play in a soccer league on Sunday’s. Strength has been progressing and I’m down from 228 to 222 over the last 4 weeks of the program.

I love my dogs too. I certainly would never give them up. But when they’re gone, getting new ones will be questionable. I always thought I’d want kids but the more I’m around others kids the less I want to deal with their shit (pun intended)

At a certain age, you have your mind made up whether they’re for you or not. Being childless opens the world up for adventures and fun forever. Having a child opens up a different world with different adventures and fun. Everyone has their thing. I’m already ready to pop another one in the oven

The older I get the more I like my money and being selfish and getting to do what I want when I want.
This is my first two years out of grad school and I’m not broke AF so I’m enjoying it. I’ll probably go for kids by the time I’m 40.

I want to have a family I’m just not sure when I’ll grow up enough to do it lol.

Again enjoying this time in my life it has me slightly second guessing kids.

Are you cycling calories or eat the same everyday?

    This.
I met my husband when I was 16, him 19. When we got married it was our big issue he wanted kids and I didnt. But who really knows that young right?
Started wanting kids and he started bugging me a couple years ago.

My neices and nephews are older (13-25) and we love them. My brother got a 6 day old foster child a year ago. Since then my husband has started to say he doesn’t think he wants kids anymore.
The little ones are too much.

If we have kids we are adopting older. No infants, thats a hard fast rule, and I’m thinking 4+

Like basically once their house broken I’ll take em lol

Eating the same everyday for the most part. Allan thrall has a good video on cutting from 250 to 210. Basically I try to KISS and not over think everything, which I think everyone could benefit from. Unless your a hardcore bb and need to hit everything exactly.

Yup. I never cared strongly either way and one of the few things I did smart in my younger years is make sure I didn't procreate since I wasn't in a stable position in life for that, be it financially or with the lady in particular.

I would definitely have to buckle down if I had kids. Concerts would be off the table for instance. Plus I'd have to really watch my mouth etc.

The growing up thing yeah that's not for me either. Never was.

My niece and nephews on my side are 17, 15, 13..girl in the middle. The oldest thinks his uncle Chris walks on water. Don't really see the other 2 because my sister isn't great at making time for the rest of her family, let's just say.

I did always say I'd want 2 if I did have kids, have a boy and a girl..have one, adopt the other. Being an adopted child myself I would like to continue the cycle, so to speak.

If you think the housebreaking thing sucks....IDK about that, never done it but man the shit I gave my parents as a teenager I would never subject myself to

So last month my hemoglobin was 19.5 and hematocrit was 54%. Had a unit of blood taken, started baby aspirin, and dropped test just a tad. Went back today to have my blood taken again but this time it was 16.5 and 47%... Not sure how it dropped that much but I'm happy. They didn't even take any since it was in healthy range.

    ok wise guy :bored:

Let's say I workout at 9am. I'll eat 600-800 preworkout, like 8:30. and another 400-600 post workout, like around 11:00 and be done with those calories for the day. Then I have a late lunch around 3:00. Dinner around 7. Then a shake before bed around 10.

I used to be very methodical about a time of day but with a newborn that don't work. I still time my meals around my workout, it just changes day to day. Like today. I still haven't been able to get a lift in so I'm about to eat at 2:00 what I would normally eat at 6am...

Do you know what your creatinine and uric acid is?

Lots of lifters have elevated creatinine and uric acid due to high protein diet and muscle break down. Had a scare in February where the primary care doctor told me something could be up with my kidneys. Nephrologist took one look at me and said I was fine. Dropped the protein quite a bit and actually felt better- my blood tests were more normal too.
