Well, I just made $750! And they'll allow me more on trade than I paid new!

 

Carvana is the whole reason was able to get my Tacoma, they paid well over trade value for my Accord..we’re talking 3k more than the dealer offered. Their whole business model is to lose money buying everything they can to squeeze out smaller used car businesses.

 

Carvana, Vroom, Carmax in my experience is all legit. I got way better offer than any dealerships gave me.

 

you could check on the DMV Website for your state, I am only a dealer in Missouri so I don't know how other states work.

 

Damn the DMV website really sucks here and I can't find anything, gonna have to try and call tomorrow or perhaps asks the dealership if they know anything of it lol

Is there a specific name for this "clause"?

Did the whole carvana thing today, they are willing to give me what I paid for the truck back in November.

Well the current offer is the same as the 1st one. 36,289, been looking today and best price for a 20 with the LED lights is 36,125. So can get a new truck for less than I can sell mine for, sounds great till you add taxes and all the other BS. So a going up a year and gaining LED lights will cost me $2,800. Think I’ll pass, but what would y’all do

 

I was offered around $36,500 for my '19 TRD OR DCSB 4x4 in Cement gray with 21,000 miles last week. I decided to accept the offer. I have been working from home since March and the truck has sat in the driveway, and their offer is only about $2k less than the truck cost me new last year, plus I drove it for 21k miles. To only lose $2k depreciation is pretty great so I decided to take the money and run. I have a weekend car (E92 M3) that I can use to cruise around town temporarily, and I'll look into getting another truck in 6-12 months when the market settles back down. They're coming to get it tomorrow.

 

I decided to give it another shot today. No changes and now it’s 10k more. Smdh....

 

seems like its worth it to me. if you were to buy the led lights for your 2019 conversion harness it would be 1600 ballpark. By selling and rebuying you could get a brand spanking new truck, LED lights and power seat (worth it)

 

I’d check with the dealer on packages for your region. Thanks to the SET mafia we can’t get the led headlights unless we get the 5k plus premium package. Finding that out the hard way

 

How does carvana work if you still have payments on your truck? Do you have to pay it off before they pick it up or do they take over the loan and cut you a check of the remainder?

 

The offer expires Saturday, so have time to think on it. Still think I can get them down some more, would like to be $37,000 OTD

 

Been seeing this a lot. Weird, but also makes sense as to why all the ones i saw were priced much higher than dealerships

 

yep just like a dealer, you get them the 10 day payoff and they’ll pay off the loan and direct deposit you the difference

 

Where do the flatbed trucks come from that pickup ur trucks after u sell to Carvana? It looks like there is only a dozen locations in the country. For me the closest location would be Philly about 5 hours away. Or do they pay local towing companies to pick it up?

If I had a 3rd gen and Carvana was offering more than I paid I'd sell it and get a new one. I plugged in the info for my 2nd gen and the offer was less than I'd sell it for.

 

They’re shipping all these Tacoma’s to ISIS. Lol. These are crazy used car prices when you can buy new with lower interest and warranty for less money monthly.

 

Exactly... I just checked out the carvana website and I'm finding new trucks in town for less...
