That'd be awesome! Before this whole COVID shit, I was on the 5/80 schedule, 9 would be a lot better!

I like 5 40. Gives me more time each day, which I prefer over having less time each day but an extra day. I like salary though I usually end up spending more time in the office in the winters. My boss knows my summer work ethic is a lot lower than my winter work ethic.

edit I could probably deal with 9 80 but my shop was starting talks of 4 10 and I basically told my boss the day they do that he’ll have a resignation letter. And then the Rona happened.

different strokes. I like to come home every day and take the dog out or mow the lawn or hit the beach. If I get out at 4 or even 5 I can do that. 10 hours would be 8 to 7, but even with an hour lunch after 10 hours you get tired, plus the timing - wtf am I going to do if I get out even at 6, get home around 630. Wind down 7. There’s only enough daylight for a few months out of the year at that point. All so I can get a day off that I’d need to sleep in and rest for the morning at least, so in reality I only get an extra afternoon out of the whole ordeal of missing 4 of them. I’d way rather come home every day at 4 or 5 and get the rest of the evening. Hell I used to ride for 30 ish miles a day, I’d leave work around 430 and spend 2 ish hours riding and then still have the rest of the night too. I’d way rather work fridays and have every day, at least in the summers. But I also don’t have kids, that would change the way I’d look at things maybe. oh well.

Absolutely. I get into work at 6 so 10 puts me at 4.

    But I'm used to working on the road or doing 5 12s and a 10 or 4 16s and a 6.

Most years I work 15 months worth of hours in a 12 month year

Definitely different than what I am use to and I haven't had biweekly pay since I was in high school lol.

I'm use to having to work. One shop i was at the hours were 6 to 430 M-F so 5/50 and then they would guilt trip you for Saturdays

Here's the best part. I had them it down. They're all $195 per tire and the rest is misc fees.

I've got a place in Nashua, $435. Done.

I'd never pay that for to.

I think a set of 4 duratracs normally run me $680 for 4 and $60 for install and disposal

265/75R16 C load Duratracs are 196 with a $100 rebate on discount tire (for 4), and tirerack. I'm torn between getting them or the Wildpeaks which are running 156 right now. Sucks because 2 weeks ago the Falkens were 125 on Amazon and I should've jumped on them then. Kinda leaning towards the goodyears at this point.

I used to want 4/10, thought it'd be great for that extra day off.. but when I put in a 10+ hour day I hate it. Also couldn't stand it when i worked in an office and had to take a 1 hour lunch and be there for 9 hours.. Screw that shit. Now I'm in production at a brewery and we basically eat when we have time and get paid for lunch, much rather have that. Plus on salary I come and go as I need, put in a couple long ones and I'll take a half day friday, pretty sweet!

I am 8 to 4 plus lunch time. If it’s an hour, then 5. I usually end up half an hour unless I go to the store or something. Sometimes I work through too.

Which shop in Concord so I can avoid wasting my time looking there. Town Fair?

I'll be looking for 4 C Rated 265/75/16 Duratracs towards the end of August, but won't go below Concord.
