On another note, Once I have this lift installed, I already have wheels and tires at the ready, I am conflicted to what mod I should throw on next. I want to do front bumper and winch, full skids, and rear bumper. The order I am having trouble with is should I do front bumper then skids, or skids then front bumper? Rear bumper will be the 3rd thing no matter what I do. Thanks!

I tried doing the front coils and ecgs bushing today. Neither were finished. Tried getting the cv out for a couple hours then decided to move on to the shocks. Could not get the drivers side built using the truck. I’ll take them to a local place to be built up and hopefully I’ll have an update from UPS on the last leaf pack. I’ll try the bushing again but get a few other tools that’ll help. The slide hammer from autozone only had a threaded end, no attachments or even a nut on there.

Yea, I thought it was gonna be an easy thing to built them up on the truck... the videos made it look easy. I think the neutral pressure made it tough. Could not get it to line up when jacking the Luca. I made sure I had a back up plan, just didn’t make sure they were open on Sunday lol.

I could have, I just don’t trust those portable compressors. I’ve seen they work and people use them but it’s just not something I wanted to use with these springs. Always good to have a back up though. There is someone around here that has a mounted compressor I could barrow too but it’s a bit of a drive.

Probably what I should have done in the first place. You tube just made building them using the truck look so easy. Owell, I didn’t lose or strip anything out and don’t think I broke anything. I’ll get them built this week and hope I get my leaf pack. Ordered pry bars and a slide hammer attachment for for cv. Here’s hoping next weekend is better lol.

Seriously ... YouTube made it look 1 out 5 level of difficulty. Leaf springs were heavy as hell.

Yes they do... I’ll say that everything came apart and went back together pretty easy. I’ll do it the same way and try again on the ecgs bushing too. I loosened the lca mount nuts, and removed the 2 bolts holding the knuckle to the wheel. I also removed the sway bar. Used A floor jack under the lca just to make sure it didn’t fall too fast.

So I just went ahead and ordered 2 loaner compressor tools for pick up from a local advanced auto parts. I decided I’d feel safer trying with 3-4 arms on the spring rather than 2. The shops around here won’t be able to help for a few days so I figured I’d give this a try. I’ll keep you all updated.

I also filed a claim with UPS this morning and they are going to try and find the other leaf pack... my guess is the tag was ripped off then ignored.

Good luck. Just keep those compressors applied evenly and you’ll be fine. Let us know how it goes.

In my experience the Ironman coils have to be compressed tighter than a rental from Autozone can achieve. The gap between coils, once assembled, is very small. I wasn’t able to use the tool and returned it.

Same thing happened when I just tried, luckily I tried to slide the shock in with the tools before I compressed it. Welp, time to call other places.

Today was the day I was supposed to hear something and I sent a message this morning and no response all day which is odd. I just messaged them and they wouldn’t answer questions about my order through chat said anything about shipping post after 4 today. I was like well am you tell me if it was fulfilled or not and the chat person read the text and crickets. No response. I’m a little frustrated at this point so I will call them tomorrow and if I can’t get straight answers ask for a refund at this point. I’m a little sad about this because should i get a refund the waiting process starts all over again ordering elsewhere.

Does not sound good, maybe they’ll pull through. I wonder what’s going on there, since it sounds like hot or miss with them and customer service. I’m worried about what’ll happen if they need to replace the lost (for now) leafs.
Let us know if you hear anything.

It does sound frustrating but as I said I called them and talked to them days ago... after my chat with them went nowhere...

What I heard from a local shop is that their chat system sends the messages to their emails. They don’t have a designated chat person. They are trying to move into a bigger space and hire a full time customer service/chat person.

no excuse I know but they are trying to get the America arm of their company going stronger.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I don't know if it will make you feel any better but it was like pulling teeth for me too. After asking them over and over for updates/shipping information stuff just finally showed up one day
