    Yikes. I was looking at Moog but it seems there are a lot of mixed reviews.
    That’s probably the route I’ll go, still cheaper than OEM

    1/2" probably about right. May drop alittle more when you add a winch but not much. Get one with synthetic line and that'll help keep it lighter.

    There's a bunch of good winches. It's about as confusing shopping for one of them as figuringout what lift you want. I've heard good and bad about Smittybuilt but i have never had one so I won't say one way or another.

    I’ve heard good and bad about the smittybuilts as well (more good than bad). @Darkgoatracer has a traveler winch and while it has steel cable, he uses it quite a bit and it’s been reliable.

    The Badland 12k actually gets really good reviews. They are slow and loud but supposedly work well and are dependable.
