I felt it in Youngsville. I was eating breakfast, the coffee in my cup was rocking back and forth before I realized what was happening. Crazy!

Just a quick second but it felt like the house was jolted - like a truck hit it.

Funny thing the wife an I were just there (Laurel Springs) the day before working on some property we are buying.

I remember the 2011 as well one as we were selling our house in Charlottesville in 2012 and it failed radon inspection likely due to the quake.

haha.. so I want to built a drawer/bed system to camp in the bed of the truck. I want it to be a bed cover to protect the sleeping/living system when I am not camping. Yet be able to open up when I am camping.

I have a design in mind. I am just wondering if something out there already exists?

I saw a pic somewhere of a Leer type camper shell that raised up like a pop-up camper

Softopper with a sleeping platform is what I’m working toward one day. I want a decked system for the F250 eventually. My bed is 6.75’ so it’s plenty of room for me and gear (I’m 6’2 so the short bed tacoma was too short)

Yea I've seen something like that as well. I have a hardshell on right now and im just not sold on the functionality of it (for what i want). I like the softtopper cause you can take them off or fold them up, but if i build out the bed i need it to be covered. Its a weird idea for sure hah

That will be comfy, for sure.. I guess the only reason for a softopper to convert into bed cover is if my living/sleeping system isnt waterproof

Anyone looking for a used set of tires? These Falken Wildpeak AT3W have about half tread, 265/75/16. I'm just thinking ahead to Colorado in January... They might not be good enough for Eskimos, Igloos, and penguins and ICE.
