Got code read again and still p0303. Noticed my coolant level has gone down since i topped it off 1.5 weeks ago too. Oil has no chocolate milk color and is clean. Headgasket?

 

Cracked head is more likely but could be a gasket I suppose. Consider investing in an ultragauge, knowing coolant temp is a good metric too.

 

What was your Activision ID again?

 

What would be some methods to determine which is my issue? Besides having someone do diagnostics on it in a shop. Quite the marginal difference in what im bout to owe between those two

Well either way, you have to take the head off. And either way you need to have the head sent to be tested for flatness and cracking... The difference comes after that result. If it's cracked, you need a new head and that can vary in price. The head gasket and all other gaskets touched during the process will need replacement and they sell kits for that, Toyota has one, it's called the valve grind gasket kit.

Still at work, but finishing up some last minute stuff.

Owner was pretty pissed lol not with me, I'm getting an extra bonus.

There's only one person above me before the owner, and that's the Ops Manager. He left early (2pm) cause he started his vacation so I've been running the entire store solo. Best part? It was a very profitable day
