NRGU shaving in on a 10% day!!!

 

I agree. I don't understand why companies don't do cold storage. It's not as expensive as the ransom and you can hopefully be up sooner than waiting for the FBI to give the go ahead to pay for the keys. And it would make customers feel better that you are serious about risk mitigation.

 

To be fair ixc up 5.3 today so far.

Well my SELL 2000 shares of NRGU filled @ $3.66....
Booking a loss of about $1,200...
I figure I'll make that up buying in on the next dip..
Due to FIFO I still own 600 shares @$3.63...

It's too much single day gain not to book and run

 

Why not wait? It's kind of stupid to sell at this point in the game when the potential is there for far more.

 

It's the classic "what can I do with the funds" question. If by taking a $1200 loss now he can make $2400 with the freed up cash in the time it'd take NRGU to recover that $1200 loss, then the smart move is take the loss.

Now maybe that's possible or maybe it isn't, but that's the usual reason folks will take a loss vs riding it out hoping for recovery.

 

Its a way to play it. If you don’t think we are in full recovery mode, then a 10% up day is a pretty big jump to expect a lot more. If it goes up, he rides what he has or throws back in, if it drops, he can buy back in. Either way, he’s got the money out now to play it however he wants

 

Yeah I tried to dump all 1500 shares. Its partially filled with like 941 to go. Not sure if it will do anything else today. Either way nice to get some out.

 

Seems to me, we should have some idea when things have actually turned for the better. So if nrgu is at 3 or 5 at that point, it won’t matter. There will be plenty of opportunity to get a good short term gain on it. When you are willing to take the 15% gain over 2 days, you won’t get in as much of a mess as you do trying to hold for the 500% return

 

I'll post all my ins and outs here...It looks like buy under $3.25 and sell over $3.60

 

As long as it keeps fluttering yeah I agree. It will take off sometime but who knows when. Maybe once FLIR hits 42 where my limit is I’ll start back with nrgu and doing short holds.

Things are gonna go south fast if this Russian vaccine gets debunked

 

Well - problem is, it's only up today on that news. But even if it is debunked it's going to go way down below yesterday's close.

Article I read said the WHO recognized the vaccine as one that was in process at the Russian company, maybe some questionable tactics used in getting it tested but I believe they did the testing. Russia(ns?) also said they weren't in an arms race to come out with the vaccine, that one I have some suspicions on.

This is actually sort of bad news for FLIR, I think part of their forward plan was using their cameras for recognizing body temperature. They're up/level pre-market as of now, but that's a rising tide all boats sort of thing. I'm still holding to 42, but it's such a weird economic climate right now.

 

Yea, could provide another buying opportunity. I’m sure some of the companies relying on the vaccine bump will see stock prices dip. But if this vaccine isn’t widely accepted, they could trend back up afterward.
