Wow nice surprise on NRGU this morning. Time to dump the other shares that didnt sell yesterday!

 

I’m also holding the bag on FLIR.....should have taken donuts when donuts could have been had.

 

Yeah holding the bags in no fun. I need to learn to let stuff go. (at least on ETFs) Been buying and holding for the last few months on all this stuff...mainly NRGU...and having to constantly buy it down instead of doing what I probably should have done and cut bait and recast elsewhere. So for all that work I made maybe $200. Still better than a loss, but kind of sucks given the endured heartache. Live and learn!

Plan all along was to make a little profit and transfer to SPHD

 

Yeah, I want to learn pharma stuff but now is not the time to pick that up.

BUT IXC will go up for me too. It went up less than NRGU yesterday but still giving me decent returns, without the 3x risks. Just regular risks.

What are you in at? I went in when they had a poor outlook for Q3. I think I'm in on 37.20 bailing at 42.

 

I'm planning to go split between a few dividend hunting ETFs. DIV and SPHD are the ones I'm looking at going into first, and then go from there.

 

In at 41...... not a huge amount so I’m not going to sweat it. Just a jab to the gut

 

I’ve been throwing winnings and extra duckets at SPHD also

 

I’m up 3% pre-market, all in all I’m up 20%.

 

I’m green on NRGU finally. Not much but barely. Only took a couple months haha

now if only my CTRM would turn around.

 

Now the question is...do I take my crumbs and run it hold for donuts haha

It sounds like there's a bunch of day traders in here, and that's why I generally stay out of this thread. Because that's not what I'm trying to do

But does anyone else crack up if they have Lowe's on their watchlists and get the notification that "LOW is at an all time high"? My apologies for punny humor, but it cracks me up every time I see it.

Hey, I only got 8 day trade warnings.

It's buy low, sell high. It doesn't matter if you do that in a day, a year, or 50 years. All that matters is that you make profit more then you loose profit. As long as you're happy with whatever strategy you use, and it works, is what matters.

 

I'm sure there was no insider trading by members of the Russian govt buying up calls yesterday....Let's watch Russian IP's for put activity so when know when their announcement of mild side effects (corneal scales, genital inversion, small intestine intussusception)

 

Even though I was a finance major in college, I never really invested my own money until March hit. Since then, I've paid more attention, but I think I'd stop having fun if I day traded - aka - lost my shirt. Even though it's some of the same principles, I feel safer considering the long game, for myself anyway.

 

Seems like an opportunity for people who were looking at MRNA. Not for me, but if you like a covid stock, I don’t think this Russian news is stopping development elsewhere. Yet some of them are dropping

 

Well....glad I kept 25% of my NRGU...I had no idea russia was going to cure the virus...I should have suspected it was coming

 

Yeah I lucked on that. Told it to sell all yesterday at 3.66 and it couldnt sell about 60% of it....it just hit at 3.90. So yay. Thats enough for me for now. Ill log off for the day lol.
