It's a mix. I talk about the short holds but I have long holds too, VTI mostly. And I'm starting down the road of @Boyk1182 in dividend hunting, rather than principal gains hunting. All the stuff I really talk about here is my "monopoly" account which is money I can stand to lose should, say, $FUN declare BK tomorrow. Stuff that would have otherwise bought me new tires for my MTB that I didn't need, for example. I'm playing with peanuts as discussed here at least.

My take: pharma's were probably dedicating a considerable amount to the vaccine run, say 25% at most of their resources. There's a ton of other stuff and that's where the money is. Also, after they started talking the other day how vaccines should cap out at 3 bucks, I guarantee a bunch of companies cut a bunch of funding to it because it's just not worth it at that low of a price point, to dedicate all the resources and come up with the vaccine. Let someone else take the 'rona, and then take the next 5 instead.

Just bought some ZSL

 

Flipped into 400 shares of SRNE on dip at $17.15...
Now at 680 @13.44 with stops...

 

So when does this green fall off again?

I might get one today if I punch out of the 400 SRNE I just bought riding my NRGU money from yesterday...Just have to survive this short push....and then $20 by the end of the day

My prediction is that it'll be stable into Q4. Q3 earnings will either crush or support, but also Aero/airlines in October will be a big factor and I think might make a drop. Nothing like March, though.

I'm watching PEIX blow up right now. They release earnings after close today. I've got 4000 shares at $2.42. 2000 of those are ties up in 20 Aug $3 covered calls. I might have to roll those to $4 Sept calls.

 

New Zealand has an untraceable Covid case...Family of 4 is positive in Auckland with no known origin or contacts....Somebody was frequenting ladies of the evening....

 

Did you just sell the calls on the 20% bump or are you $%#@ for not waiting?

Edit to add also ZM is down like 5% today. that one might be a good one to buy into on this dip too, looks like salesforce dumped a bunch of shares to take profit but otherwise not sure why ZM would tank like that. RLFTF is within reach for me at 0.50/share, ZM is 200 something per share, not really within reach for me with my monopoly account

 

A week ago I needed extra money so I sold those calls. I knew it would go up but I never figured it would go past $3.50, my break even for those calls. I'll wait till earnings and see what happens. I could roll them out and up and get payed again to do it if they go up. If they go back down I'm good with the trade.

That’s what I was talking about. If, for some reason, you don’t believe Russia is going to cure the world of covid, then many of these should see a short term opportunity for profit with a bounce back

 

I went in on 2 shares of MESO - Big boy bucks, 11/share! (11.32 I think). Limit sale at 16 I'll take my donuts then. Up 6% on FUN, nearly 8% on IXC - debating about selling FUN, maybe push it to IXC or RLFTF or something form the robinhood naughty list of the day.
