Dealer tried to sell me this. Seems like a no brainer. Any reason not to do this prepay maintenance plan?

What are they "servicing" every five thousand miles?

I’d pass. There is virtually no maintenance up to the 45k mile mark. A few oil changes, tire rotations and basic inspections. Hard-pass.

You Don't need it. Nothing to do at 5K. I use DT for tires with free lifetime rotate and balance. Everything else is in 10K intervals. My dealer does my oil and filter changes every 10K for 49 bucks.
Just had the front brakes done for the first time a week or so ago at 80K. They were down to 4mm.

Also, 4 years or 45k miles whichever comes first. So if you’re driving less than 11.25k miles a year, you’re gonna get short changed maybe.

I don't drive very much. After two years I only have 20k miles. But I do have the 10yr/100k extended warranty. I made another post a few weeks ago about whether it was needed to bring the truck in every 6 months for maintenance, as required by the owners manual, and everybody told me that in order to keep my warranty valid I did need to do the maintenance every 6 months.

It's too bad I can't transfer the Toyotacare that came with my '19 to you or someone who will use it

Or get a specified amount off MSRP if you elect to tell Toyotacare to dangle

Most mechanics doing routine maintenance aren't paid a living wage and therefore have little training and experience.
