I made a day trip to URE a month ago or so! Was brutal!

 

because of the distance or because Skip busted an axle and took all day to fix it?

 

Distance! The axle bustage was a non factor!

 

I feel ya on the drive but I'd make the 3:30 hr trip to gulches just need a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast and I'm good to go

 

I bet it was. It’s 2.5-3 for me. I haven’t been in forever though. Heard they wimped the trails down so maybe I need to go.

 

Yea not saying I wouldn’t do it again! I’d hit Gulches this weekend if there weren’t moving plans involved!
