Majority of 265/65/17 tire brands say recommended width is 7.5"-9.5". TRD 4Runner wheels are 7.0" width. Any issues with fitment on 265/65?

No worries, the Tacoma Offroad stock wheel size is a 16X7 for a 265/70/16 tire, the size you want is the same width and overall diameter of the stock offroad tire, you're just replacing less tire sidewall with a little more wheel.

I used to run 265/70/17 for years, now run a 285/70/17 on the same wheel. No issues at all.

    Quick question,
I just bought a set of OEM 4runner TRD pro wheels for my 2020 tacoma. Do I need to change the lugs or can I keep and re-use the ones I have? I read somewhere that it might not thread around enough times and should be replaced. Need to make sure..
    Thanks

If you had steel wheels then yes you need to change the lug nut. If you have a Sport or OR then no you won't need to change them as long as they look like this.

TPMS sensors also swap over as long as they're not from steel wheels.

Use regular soap and water, a chemical might cause the red TRD to fade.

What size Nitto tires did you go with here? Stock Sport size of 265/65-17?

Just an FYI, ordered some of these for my wife's Tacoma almost a month ago and they had trouble getting them (although I did finally get a call today saying they are in). Picking them up Monday and having tires put on Tuesday (Falken AT3W, 265/70-17)

Everywhere I’ve looked saying unavailable. Any speculation they’re discontinued and replaced with 2021 4Runner TRD Pro wheels?
