Since it's practically a brand new truck, any chance the dealer will replace the tire for free?

I am guessing you said that because it is a Robinson screw in the tire.

I would plug for the time being and then find a tire shop that would patch the plug.

Don’t do what I do. Just plug it. “Free” tire service ain’t free. Tech is denying he did it and now have to come back to talk to the manager. FEFC0B38-1962-4EEE-87B2-B11D3B767809.jpg

I thought a nail about 1 1/2 inches in length punctured my tire on a trip back from Vegas took it to les schwab a few days later ( just cause I know it wasn’t leaking and they pulled out the nail and it didn’t even puncture !

Well after calling around to a bunch of places near me I could not get anyone to commit to mounting the punctured tire on the steel spare wheel! Was going to just throw a cheap tire on the spare wheel but after all the tire swapping and what not it only ended up being about 35 bucks less than just getting a new matching Goodyear so ordered up a new one.

Just sayin', but I think I spent more time in this thread than I did driving to my wife yesterday and fixing her tire. :D

But, I do live for that stuff.
