Distance learning?

 

No. She’s actually going to class. She goes to a private school, so things are a little different than public. Luckily, her class size, and the overall school is small, social distancing its as difficult for them.

 

Lucky! Distance learning for my 4 year olds is practically impossible.

 

Unless you can get our IT to get their heads out their asses I don't think you can help. Happens to everyone

I couldn’t do it! I feel terrible for smaller kids who have to learn like that. They really need hands on learning in my opinion.

The school in my hometown is either doing virtual learning or an A/B schedule. I have a former classmate from high school who signed her kid up for the A/B schedule, but her kid can only go 2 days to school one week and 3 days the next week. I feel terrible for her because he’s younger, like 6-7, and she works full time and is a single mom. She’s expressed how she struggle financially and can’t afford WiFi for her kid to do the virtual learning (which they’re still making them do on the off days). The rest of the district this school is in is doing either all virtual learning or 5 days a week in school. Her and multiple parents have expressed how the current A/B schedule does not accommodate single parents and the school is not budging or trying to compromise. It’s awful!
