Well, during this covid mess I forgot about my DOT med card being up for renewal, So today I tried to get it taken care of.

Once I arrived at my usual spot, I discovered they where closed for remodeling. and it went down hill from there... I end up a different spot across town, everything started out smooth, then they tell me my Blood pressure too high. so I wait around for them to check it again. and still too high. So they have me wait some more... And can you guess what happens next? yep still too high. So she was like I will give you a 3 month waiver long as everything else is good.

then she discovered the Umbical hernia I have had for over a decade, never been an issue at all EVER when getting a med card, my normal doctor is fine with it, But she wants a surgical clearance. So Now I have to get into see my Doctor to get a referral, and he is booked out 3 months. and with Covid there is no elective surgery.

I need a nice long vacation...

 

Luckily it was only saddle bags for the bike this time and not something fragile like usual

I’m out of town for a funeral for my wife’s uncle. Won’t be back till this weekend. I hope to laser it Monday or Tuesday. Then I can finish the upper assembly and attach the two.

 

I keep my permanent truck gun just out of easy sight, under the driver's seat. At the end of the day, it's a cheap gun that I'd rather know is always there...till it isn't, then it'd promptly be replaced with one that is always there...till it isn't..and so on. Cheap insurance that comes without a renewal fee (thus far in life).
