they all get put back.

good day out, hot AF but y'all know that.

water still a bit high, fast..but clearing nicely, cooled us off. We hit the Monocacy, around 8th street in Bethlehem..nice stretch.

however, our normal paths to the water were wiped clean and it's like a jungle..such a mess since the storm.

 

That is leaf sucking season for you. I understand.

With cooler weather comes the return of Taco Sunday. That’s something we can all get behind.

 

I'm with @loosnut I hate the cold, I don't mind fall though, even I get tired of breaking a sweat by just walking out the front door. Though TacoSundays are something I can most certainly get behind.

 

I am absolutely loving this weather!!! Work in the morning...or not...and then spend the afternoon in the pool. And, we built the house without air conditioning. This weather has been awesome!!

 

Nice. Were the gnats and skeeters bad?

 

nothing! cannot remember a summer trip without the constant annoyance.

It was nice.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!! Looks like another hot one today. I'm going to clear some brush along our driveway...and lay around the pool.

We're getting the deck of our front porch replaced - had some wood rot after 16 years and decided to go with composite. We wanted to stay with the 3" tongue in groove look and also with a specific color....which doesn't give you many choices. I found a product - Aeratis Traditions - which was perfect. Right size/style and it then is stained/painted to the color you want. And, if you use one of the 4 stain/paint manufacturers they recommend they will reimburse you the cost of the stain/paint. Pittsburgh Paints and Sherwin Williams are on the list so we are golden. The contractor should have the deck done today and I'll stain it tomorrow!
