Happy Hump day folks . It's going to be another humid day out there so be careful if you are working out there. If anyone is having lantern fly issues, I have been using Dawn dish detergent mixed with water in a spray bottle and give them a good dousing. It works well. I have even shot them out of the air when they try to get away . Good fun when your bored.

 

The dawn mix works well and you can even add some vinegar to make it extra lethal.

Don't get bored. Bored is what the unimaginative do to themselves.

 

Stopped by Toyota dealership in Malvern (Sloan) and my truck qualified for the free treatment of fluid film on frame. Since I live in PA and drive on the Jersey beaches in the Fall, Im going to let them do it. They have to order the material, then they will call me when I can drop it off. They stated I get a free loaner for the three days needed to finish the truck. I requested a Tundra, 4Runner or Tacoma as replacement loaner options. We will see what they give me..... Not sure of the validity, but the letter stated I needed to reply by August 22nd of 2020? And Yes, everything would be free of charge. I will keep everybody posted on updates or notices received.

Dropping mine off at Team in Langhorne next week for the same. When I got a loaner last time for warranty work they told me they don't rent 4Runners or Tundras (I asked for a 4R got a new taco)... Don't know if that's a Toyota thing or just a Team dealership thing. My wife wants to kick the tires on a RAV4 so I'm hoping they can give me one of those.

The good news is they agreed with me that my right front caliper is sticking and are replacing both under warranty.... I hope they don't leave a mess applying the CRC....

 

New toy for the truck. Gotta figure out how to get the rear camera mounted and wired to the camper shell window.

 

Anybody else have problems with Toyota financing not sending them a monthly statement/bill in the mail?

 

Not so much that but all kinds of things go missing.

I write so many Checks every month if a Statement goes missing I seldom catch it.

 

I do mine by direct deposit - in the past though when I made check payments they normally did not send a bill/statement. I was given a payment book and had to make the payments per the date on the payment slip.

 

Nice! I picked up the same one for my Wife's car. I'm slowly ramping up motivation to get it installed.

Friend got his replacement tires and 17in wheels. I honestly liked the 16in wheels better. This is for his 4runner btw.
