So I already had an interest in the 3rd gen 4Runner to begin with, but I had pushed away the idea when I figured I could just buy a camper shell for my truck.

It was only when my coworker told me he would be selling his that I said I'll take it. He's got four cars so he needs to get rid of it anyway considering he just bought a new Ram last year.

When you told me about the geometries varying greatly on those LC from the 4R, I looked at all the cool shit that can be done on the LC instead, and what was available....made my wallet happy I went with the 4R

Seriously though, an LC could be in my future years from now. Yours is just clean!

Thanks! I just wish the PO never used it to back a boat into the water. It would actually be super clean for its age if he hadn't. Thankfully it's all superficial though, bolts still come out easy and nothing has any flaking besides the axle paint.

The LC suspension is pretty neat, our rear is almost the same, just the top arm angles are more favorable on the LC due to the offset design, so they feel more stable stock for stock. The front on the LC gets spendy fast though, the radius arms are beef, but all the bushings and shit wear hard and correcting caster is a nightmare. But hey, 11.5" of stock front travel is dope.

They apparently do more with a single bolt removed from one radius arms but I've never tested it. It's more than enough and the rear is like 13 total. Just have to have shocks that are long enough, cause the stockers aren't.

There is a guy in Virginia with a 100 series that took his 3rd member there. They turned it around fast.

I think most of their stuff is off the shelf and they just want yours as a core, no?

I've not read one bad thing posted about them, ever.

Will, the guy at ECGS even apologized to me for not being able to ship today cause FedEx already came by; I was like bro, you can ship it next week you're already hooking me up

Possibly. Maybe the guy paid for a core and returned his. I just remember they turned around his fast.

Our friend Dan had three consecutive fuckups from them, 2 wrong ratio (one of which forgot to put in a locker), and one was just bad. They were all clamshells. I dunno, Im a fan of Zuk, he's cheaper and I'd trust him to do a good job, hell after he's done you can check the work and the method yourself haha.

Yeah that would be my second choice, but only because I'd need to ship stuff to him. The first choice being local.

I think it was @CS_AR that posted about Zuk and I thought his installs were crazy detail-oriented. I'd have no problems having him do any diff work for me if I needed.
