2020 TRD Sport - TRD Pro Wheels not compatible

I've been looking around for the right kind of wheels for my Sport and have found it a daunting task. Seems like every thing I find that I like is not compatible with the 2020 Sport specifically.

My latest venture was looking at the TRD Pro Wheels, which again, it says are not compatible.

I can certainly understand bolt patterns that might not match, but it seems most of the time the offset doesn't match.

I called the Toyota dealership and they said 'yes, it might work'. Might? Hmm..

Not sure if anyone else have tried using TRD Pro Wheels on a 2020 Sport. If you have, let me know because Toyota apparently doesn't know for sure.

Yes. They work. As long as your tire size isn't crazy

 

The Pro runs 16"s and the Sport 17"s that would be the only incompatibility and that is simply because TOYOTA doesn't want to cause confusion at dealers. If it's a 6 lug OEM rim from 2nd or 3rd Gen it will fit

 

Ok, I would be running 17"s.

 

All Sports came with 17",so downsizing to the Pros 16" is not a good idea ( flame suit on). The SEMA 4 runner wheels are available in 17 I have them on my truck pictured

Those are very nice looking wheels. I might need to pick them up myself.

 

Why would downsizing to 16's be a good idea for a guy with a Sport? There are more tire choices with 17"s for starters and the new Pro wheels are fugly. even the SR5 wheels are nice in comparison

 

These are 17x8" 2020 pro style wheels sold in Canada with an off set of +15 and standard 6x139mm bolt pattern.

I purchased 5 wheels since my spare was 16".

you could buy the 16" pro wheel, then buy the 16" corresponding tire size, matching the height, width of your current, or desired 17" wheel/tire set up. they will fit. Ski

 

Contact FN wheels and tell them you want a set of the FX rims. 17” and something like $200 each. Love mine and they came in bronze, something Toyota doesn’t offer.

Right, lol, the tire size changes the overall diameter between the the trims, each wasn't designed exclusively for a 17'' or 16'' wheel, people...

 

Time to go do some research on the ol' google before you keep jamming that foot further down your throat.

 

No google needed here, but please enlighten me before you shove that own foot down your mouth. So you are telling me a TRD Sport was designed specifically for ONLY 17'' wheels?..

 

Now that I have read your first message again... I think i misinterpreted what you said. I thought you were disagreeing with vicali, not agreeing with him.
