I am thinking about putting some 325/60/20 ko2's on -20 offset wheels, do you think the stock muffler will be able to handle this?

That's the OEM size on the OR model, isn't it the same on the sr5?

oem OR size is: 265/65/16 29.6" 265/75/16 would be 31.7" or round abouts, giving you 1" more ground clearance.

ARB simpson III easily fits 2 people, says its a 2-3 person, but would be tight... if you are interested in tents take a look at www.offroadtent.com they carry a lot of different brands, and give you options that are out there.

I have fairly new 265/75s on my '09. Thinking of swapping them with the 245/75s on my new one. The speedometer is slow with the original tires. Same with the '09. The size change pretty much fixed the '09. I would expect the same with the new one.

The difference between 265/75/16 and any other stock size has no real downsides. On the drive home from the tire store if you concentrate real hard you may feel a tiny bit of difference. But after a day or 2 you'll never notice. And 265/75/16's were offered as a factory size on Nissan trucks and SUV's at one time, they never had any issues. There is no reason for Toyota to not do the same, these trucks have the right gearing to handle that size just fine. Some trucks do not. You have to go up significantly before it is an issue

Remember, as tires wear they get smaller anyway. A set of tires worn to near the legal minimum tread will be roughly 1 size smaller than when they were new. If you replace a worn out set of factory size tires and go back to the same size you are in reality going up one size anyway and will notice some difference. Going up one size to 265/75's is effectively 2 sizes bigger than the tires you take off so you should feel a bit of difference. But as they wear down you get back to where the factory size is when new.

    Just for reference...
Stock 16" tires are 265/70R16 and
    Stock 17" tires are 265/65R17.

No more than removing the front mud flaps if going 1 size up on stock wheels.

    265/75R16 or 265 70R15 (1" larger/0.5" lift)

If you change the stock wheels +20 offset to a new wheel size like 0 or -20 they move out towards the curb and may rub in the wheel wells on stock suspension.

Did you buy yours new? ......or maybe from a dealer who changed the real oem tires?
Mine came with 265/70/16 wrangler kevlars, I’ll post a pic when I get home.

I sold them and put on 255/85/16, that will give you just over an inch of ground clearance.

So here's a pic of my original OR goodyear AT kevlars, 265/70/16.
Going from that to a 265/75/16 is an inch taller tire diameter.....halve that difference for the ground clearance gained. It's 1" added diameter not radius.

The 255/85 will give you a full inch plus of added ground clearance.

My 2020 came with P245/75 R16s. I swapped them with the LT265/75 R16s off my '09 Tacoma. I expect no problems. Still wonder why Toyota sells a 4x4 with 4 ply rated tires.

I don't know why a truck would be sold with passenger tires (P245/75R16).

LT (LT265/75R16) should be standard or minimum of ISO Metric tires (265/75R16).

Be aware when installing passenger tires on a light truck the tire load index must be reduced by 10%.

Yes I have, they fit great. But that's not fixing my washer nozzle.
