not sure to be honest but for that price I’m sure there’s SOMETHING that needs to be.

apparently the guy’s dad owned it but took it off because gas mileage sucked? Idk

Yeah, it isolates your starting battery from your accessory/house battery, so you don't drain your starting battery.
I'm including all three battery cables too.

@roguegs Have you taken it to Carmax or anything? Just to see what they would offer you? It’s a clean Mercedes.

@roguegs I was just about to suggest this too, or also carvana and a bunch of other companies that buy cars

Funny story about that one. I've sold several vehicles to CarMax in the past and each time, they would typically offer me somewhere between $500-$1500 more than what I got as an estimate on KBB for trade in. I went to get it appraised and they walked out with that folded piece of paper like I would be shocked to see what they offered. They offered $7-$8K less than the range on KBB for a trade in.

Had to pretend to be happy and said, "I'll think it over" LOL

Carmax can either be a great experience or a shitty one. One vehicle we traded in they supposedly said has been in a wreck before and the whole body was repainted. With that being said they still offered 3K more than what we were expecting? WTF?

Another vehicle my family bought FROM carmax a year before they said that there was body damage and the doors and fenders were repainted. Mind you...they said "they don't sell cars with accidents on their lot." The car was sitting in our garage and only accumulated like 8K miles...and yet they still offered 1K more than what we were expecting.

I try to get a comparison on what I should sell my '16 for but whenever I run a search on cargurus or carmax within a 500 mi radius, no one is selling these!!!

Carvana and Shift were worse than CarMax....those internet sales companies aren't doing the best right now but carmax is having a field day with people getting appraisals and selling their cars

Actually, here's one in New Mexico but this doesn't have the same options. Freaking euro cars you pick and choose options like its the flavors at baskin robbins.

Yeah it’s definitely not black and white with those places, which sucks ass. A nice car like yours though, may be a longgggg time before someone scoops it up from a place like CL and in the meantime it’s sketchballs and tire kickers nonstop. I’d almost take a couple-few grand less for my car if it meant someone could just take it off my hands and I could be done with it. I hate selling shit on CL now for that reason. So exhausting and frustrating dealing with fucktards.

I'd be willing to do the same if someone showed some genuine interest in it. I knew I wasn't going to get what I wanted at CarMax but I was OK if it was about 2-3K less than what I was expecting.
