That is probably because it is a desert intake and Canada is almost all desert. o_O

I like how the TRD intake sits higher than ARB. More functional for its intended purpose, I think. Price tag is higher, but I'd imagine places like trdparts4u would discount it some, closing that gap.

Anyone know if a prinsu cabrac will fit with how high it sits?

It looks like it would fit but you'd probably have to modify the bracket to connect to the cabrack instead of the roof rack mounting hole. Completely speculation though. Order one and let us know! Post some photos of your snorkel.

Anyone have a part number yet?

It won't fit, it sits too far back over the roof. I emailed them and they'll eventually make a version that fit when they can get their hand on a truck that has it

Captain voodoo that's weird man cause I called and emailed them and they said it would fit but I may have to modify it a bit, definitely conflicting word. I dont want to buy it and get screwed. I know I can bolt it on no issue the only problem would be the snorkle head itself. I've been thinking latley about just buying a safari arb and removing the trd snorkle all together. I dont know why toyota decided on a snorkle or "desert air intake" that goes up so high.

So on the Toyota configurator it shows the snorkel (desert air intake, btw) as an option when building a 2020, but everything I’m hearing is that the snorkel started becoming standard on TRD Pro. So option or standard? I’m ordering my 2021 TRD Pro company vehicle now, and snorkel isn’t an option, not listed on my order sheet.

    It's an option.

I'm betting your order sheet just doesn't have everything listed. If you really want it, maybe just hand write it in.

2021 TRD Pro might not have that snorkel option anymore... I mean you can always install it yourself. It isnt a huge hit for toyota, you can't even take it into the cash wash for cry out loud!! I take my truck thru the $18 car wash once a month... SO CLEAN!!!

I’m not sure about 2021 but back in 2019 there was some regional limitation as to what regions could have Desert Air Intakes. If you were not within a certain distance from whatever Toyota deemed to be a suitable desert, the option wouldn’t even appear on the configurator.

I believe the Desert Air Intake has been discontinued for 2021.... Thats the only thing i know about the 21's. Do you know of any other changes to the 21's or info you can share?

I heard that for the Canadian market but had not heard that it was actually discontinued for the US market. @Jeff Lange would know the answer to that though.
