True, that, given the amount of care and feeding we put into our trucks.

It pisses me off when people intentionally run the red light when theirs is about to turn red. I had two close calls: one in my Civic Si that I had my kid riding in front with me, and the other where a cop just happened to be behind me. Instant Karma for that one . I was about to pull out from UT/MLK when this guy floored it to try to make the light. I stopped halfway through my turn. The siren came on and dude got pulled over right then and there.

All i know is if somebody in a car pulls out in front of me...they're not going to be walking away (sadly)

With the height of my front end and amount of boxed steel up front, I have to be SUPER defensive on the roads.

 

I had that happened with my lifted KJ (sweet thing, another story ). The motorcyclist was able to stop at the last second but he went down and I could imagine what went on in his head ... “oh shit oh shit oh shit” probably. I mean the KJ is pretty porky to begin with and when you add lift and a front bumper it is pretty massive up front .

 

My dash cam would have gotten me out of having to pay for two possible wrecks today. Twice idiots failed to yield and turned into moving traffic.

I'm a bright blue truck. If you'd simply turned your head (idiot) you'd have seen me.

And my wife wonders why our insurance rates are so high.

turning into a shoping center oncoming lane was at a stop two lanes waved me in and lady came screemin through in the right hand lane going around 40mph...... evenin without traffic ridiculous to be going that fast so close to a stoplight intersection.

It will likely go down that way after insurance companies shake everything out. Should have Doordash'd, trying to save that extra $10 cost me $500.MInor and everyones safe all that goodness but damn if I'm not pissed, feel like my family was messed with lol.
