we are running a 7749.95 installed price if you come to us for the work. takes our guys about 15 hours to do it right and well so we are giving you a break on labor for the kit.

magnuson tunes never really change the shift patterns. they might command a bit more line pressure to ensure good shifts but they want this to drive as close to stock as it can with more power.

I don't think the price is bad. It takes a ton of research to make the first one. Plus the machining isn't cheap. It's obviously not cheap, but I am definitely interested. My concern is how hard is the install for the average mechanic? I can do timing belts in my sleep, but this is probably a little more complicated.

we are not going to be able to put this one on the dyno. we plan to do so once i get one on my truck to see what 5.29s and 35s do. but i 100% trust magnuson and what they are saying. i have put on 30 or 40 of their products and they are legit on their numbers

you can go twins, but its like 25k and yes it might make more power but not low end torque. i dont know about you but i like low end torque when im on the trails

    .
a twin turbo setup is 25K? Do you not get good low end torque from TT's?

I'm gonna have to disagree with that sorry. Kit is a few only a few $K more than Supercharger, and I bet makes better low end TQ. Turbos have came a long way. Regardless, the S/C whine is pretty sweet.

yeah no. this isn't the age of dusty spinny bois that don't full spool till 3500 rpms. with a proper set of twins you can hit peak boost at sub 2k and make way more torque than this sc setup. sorry.

TOO MUCH POWER. Said no one ever.
Doesn't have to be a race truck. A lot of guys on this forum have added larger wheels/tires, armor, campers, etc, and the extra boost is much needed just to get the truck back to factory performance levels.

While I agree, one can enter into that rabbit hole and quickly find out other parts of the truck or engine will need to be upgraded after blowing to pieces. Probably where that 25k comes into play

Hey man you do you. If you want a turbos go get them. I'm just a chevy performance engineer and know what it takes to do turbos vs blowers. Also why i have a blown 69 camaro lt4 not twins. But to each his own.
