I want to do moab but really want to do Telluride area.

You referring to the one in Tennessee or Alabama? Duck River in Alabama is a pretty slow trip, make sure the water is up or they will be a lot of walking.


Neville Bay, it is primitive camping

Once you turn off 100 onto 214, Neville Bay is on the right before the road takes a sharp left uphill. You'll cross a few "bridges" with guardrails before getting to Neville Bay. There's a sign and an open path to the bay.



Entering the park from North or South, you will pass an Info Center where you will need to stop and pay for your camping. Its very cheap (3 day pass is only $7) and no wheeling needs to be paid for as the park is free to ride.

Have you done Terrapin Creek yet? It’s a nice lil float!

 

I grew up on the Duck, Mulberry and Locust Folk rivers, I floated those a lot but not many others.

 

Gonna have to check those places out! We're gonna take the kids yakking before the summer is over, thinking of Terrapin, but not opposed to any other good floats!

 

Locust Fork can be very dangerous. Be cautious of where you go.

only a 2:45 hour drive between. Can drive to moab and then hit telluride on the way back.

 

It’s on like a chicken bone then! You’re gonna spend a thousand dollars just in fuel there and back! Lol
