    Well it looks like I'm not losing/quitting my job after all.

    /sigh

    Apparently I'm more special than I thought and my VP approved keeping me on as a FTE but HR has said no. Currently trying to covert me over to a contractor at the end of the month and all that entails. Not sure if it's a 1099 or w-2 yet.

    I don't care for the actual job that I do so I've been looking forward to quitting for months thinking there was no way in hell there would be an exception. We've saved and planned for this but I also can't be selfish and not get a paycheck when it's being offered to me.

    My analyst is gonna be soooo pissed off when she finds out lol. She likes me but she wants my job more and doesn't understand she isn't qualified to take it. Having them convert me and her not being kept in the loop will make her so mad lol. Maybe she'll quit and I'll get to do her work again :D
