Already done a few times. If you look at flex-a-lite they have a universal dual with aluminum shroud that is almost perfect for the 2nd gens. If you want I'll dig up the P/N I did a lot of searching for this it's on my list. The flex-a-lite is pricey though at 1g+ iirc so if you could bring that price down some that would be slick.

If it could be slim enough to push the rad and stuff back a few inches I'd be even more interested that is a lot better than what I was looking at. I'm on board if you want a 2nd gen to play with let me know I'll be glad to volunteer.

Please stop misinforming people to push what you're selling; you're doing yourself and Magnuson a disservice. OVTune on TW is offering twin turbos for $5-10k depending on options. That doesn't mean it works for everyone. There's room for everyone. Labor will definitely be a much higher cost for his kit because he goes into the fuel modifications needed to push higher levels of power.

I'm going FI in the near future, and originally wanted the Magnuson because of the warranty and "ease" of install, and I don't NEED to have the most horsepower possible. I'm on the fence now (not because of anything you said) because I would like Magnuson to offer a fuel upgrade kit as an option so I might go TT, but as I mentioned above labor is a big thing. I know I can do the labor to install this kit, and that's a huge plus for it (and the supercharger whine). I'm definitely interested in your fan setup though.

To anyone saying "Wah wah X dollars for whatever amount of hp's is too much! I was never going to buy it at any price, but I wanted to make sure everyone paid attention to me for a second!" Thanks as usual for contributing to TW!

ya im not talking down the twins. i am wrong on the price and over exaggerated the price, but with it all installed im guessing it would put that TT kit near 12k if not more. OV worked with magnuson on this i know that. he got like setup #2 to help with the tuning. his TT kit is very well made. but you are right the install on that is quite the undertaking. as is all turbo add ons

i dont know yet. depends on cost and what i want the kit to run. i would love to go to a PWM setup and a lingenfelter control unit so i can have it soft start and command the speed on the fan.

Here it is. >>> "I’m pairing this with my Autocool guy NB-100 pulse width modulation controller and Bussman RTMR relay box, for power distribution. I’ve drawn out a wiring schematic, and it’s actually turning out to be quite a bit more complex than a simple set of relays. I’ve been uping my wiring game with use of tech flex and MetriPack connectors. Should look good and provide silent, factory like control of the fans.
I’ll report back in a couple of weeks once I get in."

that is overkill for these trucks. a no shroud dual fan setup would be fine. shrouds actually stop flow on the highway. if it can work fine now with a 20in clutch fan twin 14in fans kitty corner from each other should work perfect. put it on a thermal probe command unit and a relay for driver override and it should be more then ample.

Not to get off topic, but I like the built in tranny cooler of that setup. I will be towing a 3700ish lb. trailer with my Taco occasionally so anything to help the tranny is good.

I would like that part # when you find it. I've been trying to figure this out for a while. Just been a chicken so far, don't want to risk the motor.

What are you talking about? OV tune charges $2,949 to upgrade both injectors and the fuel pump. So if the boost is truly limited by the fuel system you'd be looking at damn near 10K, just like he said, to run more boost.

In for the SC whine... but to put this in perspective, no fuel upgrades made 462tq 423hp @ 7 psi. Direct injectors required to run up to 10 psi. Direct injector + fuel pump required to run 15 psi. DIs are being purchased directly from Lexus dealers, pump with pump controllers directly from OV. Several ppl are upgrading fuel pump due to recent pump recall and don’t want to run the risk boosted.
