I’ll have 3 weeks vacation next year, so I’ll reserve a week for this trip.

 

Might need more than that. I was planning on 8-9 days

 

2 moab 2 colorodo 4 traveling

 

We will plan something. Gotta find a good time to get a group of us. Lot of fun to ride with more than 3 haha

Put in there and get out at Swann bridge. Be careful of high water, it can get crazy.

 

2 days in moab? You’ll be sad if you don’t do more, just FYI.

 

So wear our life jackets then. How do you get back to your put in spot?

 

Haha same except when I went to NC. We had 7 riders.

 

yea i added 9 days cause i might want to stay longer in one place or the other

 

I was that guy in the 7. And it was still a blast. They were all great about it and supportive. Different mentality with bikers than with off-roaders.

 

Is there not a weekly ride group where you live? The trails by my house has a meet up every Thursday afternoon. groups run 5-20+ deep

 

Yeah we did 5 days just in moab and it still wasn’t really enough.

 

There are Thursday time trials at Monte sano but I don’t want to compete in those yet. Other than that I don’t know of any.

Yeah I'm sure there is a regular group ride close by that isn't a TT.

 

Sounds good, it’s a tough trip so just wanted to make sure you knew lol. Just didn’t want you leaving feeling like you didn’t get enough, which is probably how you’d still feel after even 2 weeks out there haha

 

I haven’t seen any on the Facebook groups I follow, but I also still feel beginner enough I kinda only like riding with folks I personally know.

 

It’s hard! Lol. We know the best trails and such now, but it’s a brute. There just is not much flow around monte sano. So so rocky.

 

I think so, with a guide to take you on the least awful climbs haha.

 

I wanna ride at oak mtn. Hopefully this weekend. Go to tip top and ride all the way down.
