There's a guy on here @Wsidr1 (I believe) that has used aftermarket bumpers from rockauto, maybe he would be willing to chip in on any fitment issues?

 

I wonder how it is for the players, it really has to be weird playing in a huge empty arena when you're used to the sound of 16,000+ people around you

On the TV they have the NHL graphics covering the stands so you can't see the empty seats on the screen, but it's gotta be weird for the players...unless they are simulating crowd cheering through speakers for them or something.

We had the baseball game on the other day and I found it so odd they edited crowd noises in.

I would think they'd have to just to make sure the players are achieving the same level of play...playing in front of an empty/quiet stadium just can't have the same effect on their mentality lol.

Fun Fact: The network broadcasting some golf coverage was purposely adding in nature sounds (birds, wind, trees, etc.) because otherwise it was dead silent.

People didn’t know this until one person heard a bird singing that wasn’t native to the region in which the golf tournament was taking place.

I think it affects some. I was watching the Orioles stomp on last years Champions like they were a minor league team.

 

yeah back when I played travel hockey as a kid we got to play a game at the Staples Center when it was empty...playing in an empty arena of 18k seats is really weird lol.

 

I imagine it's good for some who suffer from nerves while others play poorly cause they get hyped up by the crowd.
