"I can overcome the body scanners with enough explosives to bring down a Boeing 747...That's why we haven't put them in our airport ... I don't know why everybody is running to buy these expensive and
useless machines."-Rafi Sela, an Israeli airport security expert

These full-body scanners are yet another reactive measure that fail to address any meaningful issues. They won't catch terrorists, just like Microsoft won't stop software pirates and for the same reason - bad guys are always two steps ahead (in every way).

How do we beat them? More dynamic screening such as not screening pilots, because let's be real here, if pilots wanted to down the plane, they could without any illegal weapon help. Or using dogs to analyze bags proactively, focus more attention on baggage in general, and finally get some guidance from Israel on how to properly secure any area.

These are my opinions - everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Did I forget to mention LOBBYISTS again?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_body_scanner#Full-body_scanner_lobbyists

They are the real reason these scanners were deployed quickly and the FDA refuses to address health issues, among other ignored problems.

No only 37s. The 285 will rub, but not the 37s.

They should focus more on airline employees, they can walk into an airport unscreened and blow the shiet out of what ever they want.

not true...my parents both work for airlines...have to go through security just the same.

on another FDA note...they pressured the makers of four loko to stop making it! thank goodness...I almost bought some and drank myself to death. Now I only have to worry about every other form of alcohol.

I want to install a spacer lift on my drop bracket setup with some long travel lower control arms. I already upgraded my UCAs so I won't need those.

    Is this a good idea?

Is that compatible with a frame drop? I want to make sure my CV boots will last at least 37 years.

Yes, but you need to make the angle difference EXACTLY 1.79° to the West and adjacent to an Inuit fishing village. No more, no less. I think you should get at least 42.6 years by my estimation with that set-up.

    Good point!

On the topic of safety, I want to convert to 7-lug to ensure I never lose a wheel. I'll be using my stock rims and don't want to do anything that's not a bolt-on as I plan on selling my truck in 6 months.

There must be a TSB for this. What do I tell the dealer to make sure they give me this for free?
